Inpaint 6 App Reviews

38 Customer Reviews:

I purchased this app to restore old photo as desribed on the apps page. It is primarily for removing small items from a photo not for restoration. Not worth the $20 at all. I would not recommend this app to anyone

Does what it says

I’ve only used it a couple of times, but for the price it does a pretty impressive job. I’d recommend it.

I have another photo clean up app and thought this would do about the same job, but I find this one easier to use and more accurate in its algorithms.

The title says it all: the algorithm is well designed and, for simple regions over a repetitive background, works perfectly; works in an acceptable way for difficult regions. What I cannot accept, is that *ALL* the Exif metadata in my picture (I care in a particular way about camera maker and model, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposure settings, and GPS data) are erased after having run Inpaint6 over the JPG file. I had to save the original Exif metadata with exiftool, and restore them later. Sadly, I have told about this problem to the developer years ago, when I bought Inpaint 5 (that had the same behavior); he requested the JPG files before and after the run, and a complete readable dump of my Exif. Well, nothing happened; the least to be said is that the developer does not care about users feedback.

Finally!!

Ive been buying all kinds of aplications looking for exactly this. None of the other ones worked, this one does!!! Thank you!!!

The result is very very bad. It is far from what is advertised. It leaves marks which makes the pictures unusable. I downloaded because it was on sale at 0.99c but sure it is not worth the price $19.99. Just moved to the trash. I will not recommend it.

Oregon in September

Easy to use, seems to work like a charm! I haven’t tried all of the tools yet but thus far the app is very good.

I spent too much money buying Aperture thinking it can do more than iPhoto, which it can, like removing unwanted objects from photos. After spending hours trying I finally found Inpaint, downloaded the trial, and accomplished what I needed to. It’s simple yet elegant and for $20 you can’t go wrong. I highly recommend this program. Thank you Inpaint for making a funtional and affordable product.

Value Application

I have used Inpatient since version 3. It works, is simple to use, and is inexpensive. What more could one ask for the price?

Perfect app.

Couldn’t be happier. Takes seconds to learn to use, works perfectly. Just what I had in mind - removes anything you don’t want there from a photo.

makes removing objects much faster and easier. no delay on my 2008 iMac. tutorials very helpful. did think batch was part package but it is additional $19.99. would definetly recommend.

SO Easy

Thought date stamps had ruined entire batch of vacation photos. Removing them a snap.
